Across the board recognition for Moore Blatch in Legal 500

Moore Blatch, a top 100 law firm, has gained widespread recognition in the UK’s leading guide to law firms, Legal 500, with the guide recognising 18 practice areas and 33 individuals.

In an outstanding year for the firm, Moore Blatch is listed as a top tier firm for six practice areas with a further 12 practice areas being recommended in tiers 2 and 3. Corporate and commercial, Insolvency and corporate recovery, Clinical negligence, Personal injury, Private client: family, and Commercial property are all listed as tier 1.

Several practice areas have moved up the rankings with Dispute resolution: Commercial litigation (Hampshire) and Clinical negligence (London) being ranked for the first time.

Of the 33 lawyers that are recognised, three are recognised as outstanding, making the elite list of “leading lawyers”. These are Damian Horan (Personal injury), Luc Algar (Commercial property) and Dorothy Agnew (IT and telecoms). A further three lawyers , Heather Dobson (Insolvency and corporate recovery), Maya Sushila (Clinical negligence) and Katy Barber (Family) – are listed as “Next generation partners” and another four , Peter Worrall (Debt recovery), Lisa Saxby and Rebecca Chaplin (Insolvency and corporate recovery) and Mea North (Health) – as “Rising stars”. A further 8 lawyers are recognised for the first time.

These rankings are based on in-depth research carried out by Legal 500 including interviews with clients in order to benchmark and rank law firms in the UK.
