As World Cerebral Palsy Day approaches on 6 October 2019, Moore Blatch support all those with cerebral palsy, and call for early intervention and support for those families affected by this condition which can have a wide range of impact.
From our position as clinical negligence solicitors, we work with those affected by cerebral palsy which has been caused by negligent medical management. We believe that a greater commitment to better maternity care, earlier intervention for those affected and appropriate and early educational and therapeutic support are key to avoiding unnecessary injuries, and to enable all those affected by this condition to maximise their abilities and potential.
Moore Blatch are one of a limited number of law firms who can offer Legal Aid to investigate a potential claim for cerebral palsy being caused by medical negligence. We have particular expertise in this area and have recovered significant compensation for affected clients.
We work to ensure that once liability is established, financial and practical support is provided as early as possible. We work with families, case managers and therapists to ensure that appropriate care, equipment, therapies and if necessary, housing is provided. View our cerebral palsy claims page.
Moore Blatch offer educational advice and support to ensure that Local Authorities meet and maintain their obligation to provide appropriate educational placement and support.
We also offer advice and support to ensure that those who are entitled to community based support get what care they need.
We are happy to discuss any concerns and offer a free and no obligation enquiry service if you feel you would like to speak to a solicitor about a potential claim.
